# Modular Design Principles

The modular design of Charlie Lounge is central to its flexibility and user-centric approach. This design principle allows for easy customization and expansion of features, enabling users to tailor the platform to their specific needs without affecting the core functionality.

* **Plug-and-Play Functionality**: Modules can be independently developed and integrated into the system, providing users with the ability to select and configure features as needed. This flexibility is key to accommodating the diverse needs of our user base.
* **Decoupled Components**: By ensuring that components are loosely coupled, the platform maintains high cohesion within modules and low coupling between them, which simplifies updates and reduces dependencies.
