Presenting

  1. Introduction

It is important to use a 3rd party, such as a product story, video, website, podcast, or upline, when presenting to prospects. It is also important to develop your own story in order to properly connect with prospects.

  1. Presentation steps, in-person or online

  • Ask the prospect to tell you about their professional and life background(their story)

  • Then, follow with your story

  • Send a short video introducing your company and/or product

  • Host a meeting with your upline or a representative of your company.

  • Provide more information

  • Follow up call

  1. Your story

Storytelling on its own is a much bigger deal than sharing your story with a corporate executive or attorney. It requires the following four elements:

  • What you liked about your background

  • what you didn’t like about your background (like being underpaid, underappreciated, or out of control of your own future.)

  • The solution you’ve discovered to your issues (the solution being your network marketing company)

  • Your take on the future.

  1. The key to present effectively

  2. It is important to tell a well-crafted and effective story in order to build rapport and create interest in your business.

  1. Build connections with others based on shared experiences, and challenges. People care about you have to say about background, company, and future. You should not be afraid to share your own experiences and pain. This connection builds trust, makes people want to help, and makes people want to listen.

  2. Be open about your dissatisfaction with your current job, focusing on building rapport and trust. Encourage entrepreneurs to not be afraid to share their story, even if it's just a few minutes, to build rapport and learn more about the opportunity. Practice makes perfect.

  1. When introducing your business opportunity to prospects, they should have at least one of three things in mind when looking at your business:

  • Looks simple!

  • This might work!

  • I can do this!

  1. When first meeting a prospect, ask them to tell their story first, then tell yours, then introduce them to the business opportunity.

  1. Master your opportunity presentation. Record a presentation from the number one earner in the company and play it back word for word. Record your own voice doing the presentation, then listen to a thousand times.

  1. Develop your own sense of humor, style, clothing, and storytelling

  1. Listen to quotes and repetitive phrases from various speakers and practiced your speeches

  1. Build a confidence and adapt to different situations to improve your presentation style.

  1. Focus on developing your own unique style and incorporating the lessons of others, to become more confident and effective presenter
